And you couldn't say "Play only " as it would get confused if you were trying to play normally the track "only the lonely". The word "only" could be used in this fashion - "only play " but that doesn't really fit in the normal syntax pattern. Stringing two commands together to say "play then stop" should also work - but doesn't. When not playing an album or playlist, it seems to me there would be no confusion if the command "repeat on" repeated the current playing track. The command "repeat on" will repeat an album or a playlist. That's actually normal behaviour for most music playback systems of the older kind - LPs, CDs, mp3's, etc so I guess they regard that as expected behaviour. They assume you want to keep listening to related stuff. You can say "repeat that" at the end of the track. Sorry this got a little ranty, but thank you for any help! Has anyone found a solid solution for this yet? Or is there at least a way to request a song where when the song ends, it just stops playing? Or is this just a bug that seems to have been around for years judging from other posts? I saw a lot of people suggesting making a playlist with just that one song so that it'll repeat, but that sort of defeats the purpose of having a Google Home in the first place doesn't it? I could just play music from my phone if I were going to go through the trouble to make a playlist anyway. I've also read it'll only play songs you've uploaded or purchased on repeat, well I also tried both but had no luck. When I hear the word "track," I think single song, but from what I've read from other threads, it repeats the playlist it made (why does it do that anyway? I'd request a playlist/radio station if I wanted it to continue). When the song finishes though, it just goes to a similar song as if it were a radio station It replies, "Okay, playing this track on repeat." I'll then say a few seconds into the song, "Hey Google, play this song on repeat." Then it'll say something like, "Okay, _ by _ playing from Google Play Music." I have a Google Play Music subscription, and will say, "Hey Google, play _ by _." HOWEVER, I am having the hardest time getting a single song to repeat.
